COVID-19 - Three Step Carpet Deep Clean Program

​​In response to the current challenge of maintaining a healthy and safe work & home environment during the COVID-19 pandemic, 416-SO-CLEAN has developed the following three steps: Carpet Deep-Clean and Sanitize Program. 

STEP ONE: Carpet Deep Clean with Hot Water Extraction (aka Steam Cleaning) or Carpet Shampoo

The need for a more frequent deep clean Steam or Shampoo became a necessity to maintain a healthy work and home environment. Cleaning with soap, surfactant and water is better than just relying on disinfecting chemicals. For example, it has been proven that washing your hands with soap is more effective in killing the virus than using hand sanitizers. Therefore, carpet deep- clean Steam Cleaning or Shampooing is a must as a first step to address the COVID-19 virus.

STEP TWO: Leveraging on the power Hydrogen Peroxide

​Although any product with soap can be used to deep clean the carpet, it is even better when the products used contain hydrogen peroxide. This is backed by the Center of Disease Control & Prevention as an active method against a wide range of microorganisms, including bacteria, yeasts, fungi, viruses, and spores.

STEP THREE: The Application of a Botanical Essential Disinfectant Oils

​As an extra precaution after carpet cleaning. we will leverage on the technology of fogging (instead of just spraying) the carpet with a botanical essential oils disinfectant and sanitizer, which is proven to kill over 99.99% of bacteria and surpasses Health Canada's efficacy requirements for broad spectrum hospital disinfectants. The fogger allows the application of more effective very fine mist 1.5 Gallon Per Hour of the disinfectant.
